Gathering of Creative Industries Ecosystem Activists in Mashhad

In an era where the boundaries between art, technology, and business are fading by the day, creative industries have become the beating heart of the future urban economy.
This transformation does not happen amid the glitter of grand conferences but rather through intimate conversations, meaningful networking, and small yet deeply rooted projects.

With this vision, the gathering of Mashhad's creative industries ecosystem, titled “Cold Brew in the Lobby”, will take place on Sunday, July 20, at Misagh Hotel.
This informal yet profound event aims to foster collaboration, connect capacities, and define joint creative projects among designers, artists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and urban activists.

Mohsen Seraji, an experience designer and the organizer of this event, explains the importance of such gatherings:

“Networking is not just about connecting people; it’s about connecting visions, meanings, and courage.
What keeps an ecosystem alive is the continuous dialogue between imagination and action.”

He believes that for creative industries to truly be impactful, they must breathe within ecosystems:

“Creative industries are like lands that must first be imagined, then narrated, and finally designed.
Without collective participation and interconnection between creative sub-sectors, every idea remains suspended in a vacuum.”

This gathering is not a formal meeting but a platform for building sustainable relationships, exchanging experiences, and designing interdisciplinary collaborations.
Its ultimate goal is for Mashhad, with its rich cultural heritage and vibrant young population, to play a stronger role in the national map of creative industries.

Seraji added that the main themes of this event include:

  • Linking local identity with global creative movements,
  • Creating new business opportunities through cross-disciplinary collaboration,
  • Capacity building for the development of participatory projects in the city,
  • Promoting a culture of innovation, dialogue, and co-design.
