The Hello Statues, the Reflection of a Deep Popular Belief

During the years of my artistic activity, the urban monument "The Hello Statues", which was my experience of urban management at the House of Artists in Mashhad, was a very spiritual experience.
The decision of depicting religious and local customs led to the idea of the "Hello urban element", which is a clear example of a realism sculpture in a spiritual form. When crossing the street and passing from one place to another, people reflect for a moment as a sign of devotion, and by placing their hands on their hearts and looking at the holy shrine, they show their greetings and devotion to their Imam. It is a beautiful tradition of the people of Mashhad and the pilgrims of Imam Reza (PBUH), which can be seen well in the "Hello Statue" made by the good Mashhad artist master Sohrabi. In fact, the artist has revived a real and spiritual sense in himself and that’s why it has been so effective for the viewer and has been welcomed by the people and the art community.
Ritual behaviors and their portrayal are a special type of behavior that is accepted by society and they somehow show the connection between the people of that society with transcendental and spiritual phenomena.
There is an attention to the form, color, material, figure and induction of feeling in this urban element, which is built with bronze material with a height of about two meters and 30 to two meters and 80 centimeters and an approximate weight of about two and a half tons. The feeling that we get from seeing this statue at first sight is actually a feeling caused by being in front of the greatness and position of Imam Reza (PBUH).
