The roar, urban element

Paying attention to the symbol of the year (zodiac animal) was one of our strategies in designing urban elements to welcome Nowruz in urban beautification project in 2013. The roar element, which consists of a herd of running horses, illustrates  the relationship of running with the dynamics of the city. Using a special and different manufacturing technique, it is made of a combination of metal wires with large dimensions. Innovation in construction drew a lot of attention to this work and represented  an award for creativity in urban space in an international art festival. This statue with 4 meters high is created by Mr. Mustafa Akbari, and is located on the entrance of Misaq square of Mashhad.
