The Sailor

Sazeh Sazan Company, as the employer of the Persian Gulf water desalination project in Bandar Abbas, ordered the design and construction of the Daryaban (the sailor) sculpture based on a local belief and story to our center named Saraaj Center for Creation and Development of Art Spaces. This statue with a height of 20 meters was installed and unveiled as one of the largest sculptures in the country in September 2020 at the site of the Bandar Abbas desalination project.

This project, along with other projects for the development of artistic spaces in Bandar Abbas, including urban decoration, permanent and temporary urban elements, was designed and executed in 2020 by the Art Department of the Center for Creation and Development of Art Space and by the order of Sazeh Sazan Company.
