This sculpture is directly inspired by Chadwick’s “Teddy Boy and Girl” sculpture. Chadwick, known for his creative and abstract sculptures worldwide, presented this work in a very unique way, utilizing his distinct techniques. The sculpture depicts two human figures with abstract and non-realistic features. In this piece, Chadwick uses strong, angular lines to depict the human form, while the faces are triangular and lack specific details, giving them a mysterious and abstract quality.

“Kiban” may symbolize human relationships and their transformations in the present and future. Chadwick’s works often address human and nature-related themes, and this sculpture could reflect his views on the nature of humanity and its complexities. The angular and rigid forms of these sculptures might represent the tensions and contradictions present in daily life and human relationships.

The design of this artwork was carried out by the Center for Creation and Development of Artistic Spaces (Saraj) and executed by the esteemed artist Mehdi Zolfaghari.
