This sculptural work, inspired by the geometric pieces of Piet Mondrian, presents a unique fusion of abstract art and deep human concepts. Beyond its striking artistic quality, the piece serves as a multi-layered symbol of the human experience.

The overall shape of the piece references suitcases and boxes that humans carry with them on this irreversible journey. These suitcases symbolize our memories, experiences, possessions, and hopes, all of which are collected and accompany us to another star. This work prompts us to reflect on what we carry from life, urging us to think about our values and priorities.

The spiral form of the piece, in addition to its visual beauty, directly alludes to the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory and learning. Our memories are stored in this region and gradually take shape over time. Therefore, this artwork functions as a symbol of memory and the collective memories of humanity.

The design of this work was carried out by the Center for Creation and Development of Artistic Spaces (Saraj), with the execution led by the esteemed artist Hashem Shahriari Moghadam.
