The urban element of “Granny Cold” is a symbol in describing these days of our country, Iran. The days when we are dealing with the coronavirus and it has made life very difficult for all of us. The worst thing that can happen these days is to travel, especially the travels which are just for fun. The urban element of the Granny Cold “Naneh Sarma” is a reminder of traveling in the days of Corona and a reminder of safety points. This urban element is installed at Kish Island airport. The material of this statue is fiberglass and its height is about 2 meters.
This project, along with other development of artistic spaces projects in Kish Island, including urban decoration, permanent and temporary urban elements, was designed and executed by Saraaj Urban Art Department for Creation and Development of Art Spaces for the order of Kish Island Urban Management in May 2020.
