Launch of the Second Board Game, Dastory: Where Art, Imagination, and Competition Meet
The Saraj Center for Artistic Space Innovation and Development has unveiled its latest board game, Dastory, an inventive redesign inspired by the globally acclaimed game Dixit. This unique game merges art, creativity, and competition, offering a captivating experience for board game enthusiasts.
Mohsen Saraji, founder of the Saraj Center, remarked:
"Dastory is an artistic gallery where players utilize their creativity and intuition to interpret and identify artistic cards. It provides an opportunity to enhance imagination while exploring diverse artistic styles in a fun and competitive environment."
This innovative game transports players to an enchanting, old-world art gallery filled with extraordinary paintings. Participants must identify a specific card described by a storyteller, drawn from the displayed artworks. The game’s cards are crafted with inspiration from various artistic styles, enriching both the visual and intellectual dimensions of the gameplay.
Saraji highlighted the unique attributes of Dastory, stating:
"This is more than just a game. By encouraging social interaction and creativity, Dastory delivers moments of joy while fostering cognitive, strategic, and decision-making skills."
In each round, a player assumes the role of a storyteller, narrating a tale inspired by one of the artistic cards. Other players then select and vote on the card they believe best matches the story. The game’s scoring system is designed to promote engagement and competition throughout every round.
Previously, the Saraj Center captured the attention of art and culture enthusiasts with its board game Raz va Razm (Mystery and Battle), inspired by the epic world of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. With Dastory, the center reaffirms its commitment to developing creative and art-centric games.
Dastory will soon be available at cultural and artistic stores nationwide. For more information, visit the Saraj Center’s website. Dive into the imaginative world of Dastory to enjoy moments of creativity, competition, and artistic exploration.
