Farabazi’s bumper-car area combines attraction design with line-art murals and thematic lighting. In this portfolio project, the entertainment activity and the artistic treatment of its setting contribute to the venue’s narrative.
Electric bumper cars are among the popular attractions at amusement parks, appealing to children and adults.
Their lighting and movement draw attention, and the attraction appeals to a broad range of ages. Bumper-car systems commonly receive power from an overhead grid or the floor. Their combination of excitement and controlled play contributes to their popularity.
At Farabazi in Ghahramanan Amusement Park, the bumper-car area was designed across 290 square metres.
We used specialised materials on the surrounding walls to help protect guests. Responding to different age groups is one of the important characteristics of Farabazi at Ghahramanan Amusement Park.
The wall mural, conceived by the design team, is a distinctive feature of this area. Its detailed, even-weight line art supports the theme and suggests a particular slice of space and time, rather than telling a linear story. Black-light effects and responsive pigments create a luminous appearance; ordinary lighting and pigments can diminish that effect. SMD light strips were used in selected areas to add visual emphasis.
